An Experiment

Hello there. So this is a little experiment I did, and also my thoughts on what we need more in this city (pink trees!), or at least what the tree represents; like whimsy, and nature and calmness. I don't know how I feel about it though, if it comes through, and on top of that my perspective skills are a bit lacking. Well let me know what you think!

Flash from the past

So I was cleaning my room today and I found a whole bunch of my old drawings from high school and my freshman year in college.

An old doodle

This is an old doodle that I put some quick color on but never posted.

Flying

This was my secret fantasy when I was a kid.

This is the sketch I scanned into Photoshop.

Homework

I thought I would show you some of my homework I've been working on. The first one is a pose of "Stu" our communal model. Here we were suppose to go out and sketch people and then pose Stu in that same pose to show good line of action. The second model is of Stu in an "excited" pose to show all the different universal poses to demonstrate excitement. I'll try and figure out how to load animations later on.

More Post-it Art

Lately I haven't had a chance to upload anymore new drawings since I've been pretty busy with getting my homework done.

But, I don't want to abandon my loyal fans (all three of them) so I am posting some more post-it doodles I've done during the work hours.

Here we have a quaint country scene, a robot scary-like girl, Clint Eastwood, and a native.

Enjoy!

The Commute

I've decided to start a series of darwings dedicated to illustrating my daily commute in and out of Manhattan. This is the first one. I don't know how I feel about the background, so I might change it. For the next drawing I'll try and depit the bus portion of my commute. Enjoy!

Sad Farm Gril

This is currently a work in progress. I need to come up with a better background, maybe add a farm animal... I don't know. Still thinking about it.

Flying in style!

Here is the painted version. I tried to use earth tones for the girl andher outfit since it contrasts with the cooler tones of the sky and the plane. And, since people are land creatures it's kind of a color cue to represent that. Anywho.... hope you like it!

Flying!

This is another doodle I did while on the plane flying to Orlando. I was actually inside the plane don't worry. But I did have a window seat! I'll add some color and load a finished draft hopefully soon.

Airport Sketches

Last week I flew to Orlando to visit Joe and did some sketches while waiting for my flight to start boarding.

I know I should get a decent sketchbook... but I really like drawing in my little notebook... we shall see.

Rockin' Pig

Just experimenting...I drew this on a post-it note at work. Scanned it, saved the original pencil line and added color layers underneath the line, and some on top but then on those I brought down the opacity. What do you think?
